Green LED Module for Vİsion Processing

This is an LED Module that designed by Calpardo. On this module, there are 12 10mm green LEDs and 12 150Ω resistors onboard. This module's aim is to highlight the retroreflective tapes, which indicate the position of the target holes in FRC.

How do retroreflective tapes work?
Reflective tape (also known as retro-reflective tape) works by reflecting light back to the light source only. In other words, the tape only lights up for the person with the light source or in line with it. Therefore, the light directly reflects to the module and the camera.

Why is it important to process the vision that is captured by the camera with an additional source of light?
As I mentioned before: the light is being reflected by the retro-reflective tapes to the camera and this reflection makes the retro-reflective tapes more distinguishable compared to the other objects nearby. In conclusion, this reflection makes vision processing easy by OpenCV.
